At The Skincareapist, we aim to ensure you have a positive and uplifting experience, and we appreciate your cooperation with our policies. In order to have your esthetician’s full attention, we ask that you refrain from bringing children to appointments and that you come unaccompanied to limit the number of people in the space. Sanitation protocols are in place. Your esthetician will wear a face covering for in-person appointments and will ask that you do the same for any appointment which doesn’t require access to the nose or mouth. Please cancel or reschedule your appointment if you are feeling sick, caring for someone who is sick, or if you are waiting for the results of a COVID-19 test.

Cancellation Policy

At The Skincareapist, we are a small business and our client relationships are of the utmost importance. We value your support and understanding that we must adhere to a strict cancellation policy which enables us to provide the best experience for our clients and our team. A card on file is required for all appointments. We understand that schedules change and circumstances arise, and therefore we ask that for any change in your appointment, that you reschedule through our booking site at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations more than 48 hours in advance will receive no fee. Cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment time will be subject to a booking fee equal to 50% of the service price and charged to your card on file. Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment time will be subject to a booking fee equal to 100% of the service price and charged to your card on file. This includes last minute cancellations due to tardiness which prevents your esthetician from having sufficient time to complete your treatment. All no-shows will be charged a booking fee of 100% the appointment service price. Incurring more than one no-show may result in blocking from future bookings. For appointments purchased as part of a multi-pack (ie 3-, 6-, or 12-packs), any cancellation within 48 hours or no-show will have that appointment deducted from their total number of appointments and its cost will be applied toward a booking fee. A note on rescheduling: As a small business, we value our clients very much and we understand that sometimes life happens and occasionally it’s necessary to reschedule your appointment. If this is the case, the sooner you are able to notify us that you need to change your appointment, the better. Unfortunately, even with notice of several days or even a week or more in advance, continuously rescheduling appointments can have a negative impact on our business and on other clients. Because of this, clients who repeatedly reschedule appointments may be prevented from booking with The Skincareapist in the future.
